Is Sleeping Through A Massage Okay?

Are you worried about falling asleep on the massage table?

Maybe this is your first massage, or maybe you've had a few and aren't sure what to expect. When we get a massage, we always believe we can actually feel the stress being eased out of our muscles, and this is very similar to what happens. The therapist's hand gestures exert pressure on the body, increasing circulation by moving blood more effectively and releasing cell waste—such as worn-out proteins—more quickly than your body does naturally. In addition, the subconscious receives a thorough cleaning. According to studies, a 15-minute massage will help you think more clearly and increase your alertness.

“What if I fall asleep on the table?”  “Is that considered impolite?” “Will it have an effect on the standard of my massage?”

No, that is not the case. Even if their client is sleeping, a therapist may still have a high-quality massage. It's not rude, and it's not insulting in any way. Sleeping during a massage is really a favor to the practitioner. If you fall asleep at their table, it means you're relaxed and happy, and you're enjoying your time there.

You've arranged this massage at a massage center like Russian massage center, for a reason, and we understand that you and your body are exhausted. Relax your mind and body. We don't mind if that means catching a few.

It's also fine if you're planning on napping during this period. Simply tell your therapist that you want a quiet massage and the most relaxing experience possible. It is your therapist's responsibility to provide you with the amount of relaxation that you need.
